Hello everyone!
I am on the hunt for some edible producing trees, shrubs and plants.
Some of you helped us clear this area of spirea these past couple of Springs, but, now we need to fill it in.
The neighbors on the other side of this property line had a daughter a couple of years ago which is what inspired us to clear this area out and replace all the plants to be edible and or safely medicinal.
We'd love some ...
trees: paw paws, apples, pears*, Chicago figs, cherries
shrubs & bushes: blueberry, raspberry
ground cover: strawberries, wintergreen

I didn't know what to do with this page after the seed giving project but then, I came across some of her recipes that were given to me and wanted to share them.

I, Delilah , went searching my recipes for one in particular and came across her fudge recipe.
I know she was known for it so, this is the first recipe of Pomm's I am sharing.

It's been about a month since the last post here at Pomm's Collection, but we are just garden-focused!

I am sure that it will take quite a long time to see much feedback from the seeds that we shared with the community, but, it will be so neat when the hollyhocks bloom.

In the meantime, Jean's loved ones are sorting through family photos and archiving our family history.

If you have photos or history from Jean Sigler, or her long time departed husband Jerry Sigler, please share them with us here!

We'll check in again sooner, than later.

Ravenna Branch of the Muskegon Area District Library, thank you for helping us share Pomm's Collection with the community she loved!

We're very grateful to have been given an assortment of seeds from Pomm's Collection, distributing seeds in the memory of Shelva Jean Sigler. If you're interested in picking up seeds, we currently have packets of Red Hollyhock available as well as a small quantity of various other flowers.

If these aren't the particular seeds you're looking for, but you are interested in planting this year, we will be hosting an instructional program on how to order seeds from the MADL seed library on Tuesday, March 18th.
