Hi friends! I am sharing this with those of you in this group prior to posting it on my personal page. It is with sadness that I share we found out 2 days ago in an e-mail that Signature HomeStyles is closing immediately!! 😔Although they gave us no warning or prior notice, I must admit I saw several red flags over the last 6 months or so, and the news did not shock me. At this point, my link is still working to place orders, but who knows how long that will be the case. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT ONE LAST TIME & CHECK OUT THE PRODUCTS AND SALES TAKING PLACE, I WOULD SUGGEST DOING IT VERY SOON....TODAY IF YOU CAN. Although we will probably not be paid for these orders, my top priority is my loyal customers who may still want to take advantage of adding these products to their home or get them as gifts. I just celebrated 45 years in direct sales in Nov., having given up my nursing career to be a stay-at-home mom, and later helping care for my grandchildren. 🥰ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS!! I FIRMLY BELIEVE IN DIRECT SALES because it gave me that opportunity to do what I truly wanted to do, while still being able to contribute to our family income. As most of you probably know who have been with me over the years, I ("we" - along with Larry's support) earned many trips and we traveled to places we would have never gone to otherwise. 🏖🚢This would not have been possible without the loyal support of many of you. Although the income and trips were great, what truly made my direct sales journey in life amazing was the many, MANY friends I have made over the years. So many of you have become our family, and I cannot thank God enough for all the friendships with which he has blessed us!!! ❤️❤️❤️ For those of you who were hostesses, it has been a privilege to come in to your homes, meet your friends, and help you with your decorating and organizational needs, as well as help you with your gift shopping. 👜🎁 What I especially loved was being able to give you FREE & 1/2 PRICE ITEMS!!!! 👏WOOHOO!!! I truly enjoyed and loved the "party plan" business, and with it came so much joy, gave me the opportunity to expand my creativity, and I definitely had SO MUCH FUN!!! 🤪 Whether it was "lap sitting", drawing pics on your head, or passing a banana between your knees, memories were being made!! 🍌It was great seeing you & your friends fighting over the "auction gifts" as the room filled with laughter! We were often mocked for just "doing parties" & not having a "real job"! 😂Although we weren't required to have a college degree, I can tell you the benefits of this "job" far outweighed any job I could have had with a degree, and I know my sister reps would echo that as well. We laughed together, cried together, and we prayed for each other. We watched each other's families grow...and after 45 years of doing this, with some families...it started with mom having parties, then her daughter, & now granddaughter. (Dang! That makes me feel old!) I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR YOUR KINDNESS, YOUR FRIENDSHIP, & THE MEMORIES THAT YOU GAVE ME BY BEING A SPECIAL PART OF MY LIFE'S JOURNEY. I can only hope that I brought just a small piece of the same in to your life as you have mine. As you look around your home and see the beautiful accessories that you have purchased from me, please don't look at it as just a piece of decor, but I hope you will think of the fun times we shared together. 45 years ago, I had no idea what God was doing when he directed me on this path, and I certainly didn't think it would last this long!! 😮I know he had a purpose in opening the door to direct sales. One of my goals as I went in to each home was to share God's love with you and your friends, hoping it would draw you closer to Him.
Well....where do we go from here? ONLY GOD KNOWS THE ANSWER TO THAT!!!! Maybe I will go on the road as a chicken!!! 🐔🤣Larry just retired so we will just pray for God's guidance as to what the next steps are on our journey together. Relaxing would be nice, but that's just not us! We have learned over the last year how quickly our life could be taken, so we'll make the best of it as we move forward! :) Unless God strongly guides (as in... hits me over the head with it), I will NOT be continuing in party plan sales. As much as I loved it and put my whole heart in to it, at our young age, I believe it is time for change! We will continue to do our crafts and attend craft shows & events, as well as our open house, so I hope to see many of you out and about...definitely at Grange Fair (118 days!) I have so much SHS stock here at my home, so you will see it showing up as well. As for this page, at some point in the near future, I will close it. However, I will continue to keep the "Raelene-idecker84u" and "Lil' Bit O' Country Craftin'" groups open. If you are not already in those groups, please head on over and join us!!! Ya never know what ya might see! 🤷♀️
