Thank you to the Friends of Ruminant for organizing a successful Spring Clean Up of Harvest Park on April 22! We had a wonderful group of volunteers! Thank you to Meister Log & Lumber for donating the needed mulch for the beds and Sauk County Master Gardeners Association for providing educational support. The park's looking great!

Another great honor for Ruminant and it’s creator, artist Karl Unnasch!

And now… 🎆 (❄️**FINAL REFLECTION of 2022: Post 4 of 4**❄️)

Humbled to announce: The esteemed Davis Publications, Inc. school art textbooks recently included three of my major works in its new “Experience Art” middle school textbook, with multiple extensive mentions.

Beyond honored that author Marilyn G. Stewart saw it fit to explore my work in this book, alongside names like Kehinde Wiley, Mark Dion, Katharina Fritsch, Jeffrey Gibson, Frida Kahlo, van Gogh, Rembrandt, and on.

Still pinching myself.

Included are Ruminant in Reedsburg, WI; Rustician in Montevideo, MN; and Operant, which was exhibited in Boston, MA during 2019. (There’s more about each of them on my website.)

This great work team gathered in Harvest Park this morning to spruce up the landscaping with 4 loads of fresh mulch. So grateful for their work, and for Midwest Hardwoods donation of mulch!

The new landscaping added to Harvest Park last year is looking good!

After 6 years, some Ruminant upgrades have begun and will continue through this fall. The panels on the head of the combine have been temporarily removed as part of this process. Nice to get a visit from the Artist Karl Unnasch, and meet his assistant John Ready.
