🌳 Birch Tree Recovery – One Year Transformation
Last year, this birch tree was showing significant upper crown dieback and canopy decline, with much of the upper structure becoming non-functional.
Instead of over-pruning or recommending removal, I performed a selective crown cleaning and structural pruning, focusing on:
• Removal of dead, dying, and non-viable wood
• Reduction of stress in the upper crown
• Improved light pe*******on and airflow
• Preservation of healthy, functional structure
This allowed the tree to redirect energy into viable growth and restore canopy function.
One year later, the results speak for themselves:
✅ Increased foliar density
✅ Improved canopy balance
✅ Stronger structural integrity
✅ Overall improved tree vitality
🌱 Why no pruning this year?
The tree is currently in a recovery and energy production phase.
Pruning at this stage would interrupt photosynthesis and slow its progress.
Allowing the tree to continue building strength naturally will support its long-term health and stability.
💡
Proper pruning isn’t about removing more — it’s about removing the right material at the right time.
