Sometimes we get to make repairs on old systems not just new installations. Heres a commercial hydronic system with a leak. A 1/8" ni**le for an auto air vent in a piece of 3 inch welded pipe had rotted out and was spraying water everywhere. The 1/8" ni**le for the vent was welded into the 3" pipe. Was able to grind the rotted out ni**le and the weld flat and drill and tap the what was left of the weld and pipe for a new 1/8" brass ni**le. Refilled the with water and bled air out of system and it's leak free and working properly.

Removed a Riello oil burner and installed a Carlin EZ Gas burner on an older Buderus boiler that was still in good condition. Also ran new gas line from the meter rack to the boiler. It's a six section boiler in a large older multifamily home and was firing with a 1.25 gph nozzle. Have the new gun set up to fire at 200,000 btus. Have to return to do combustion testing and adjustments once National Grid installs the new gas meter.

Today's boiler swap... customer had a failed Buderus GB142 boiler but rest of distribution system was in great shape. Original system was installed in 2008. Was able to chop out the original.boiler and primary manifold and install a new IBC HC boiler and primary manifold along with a new low water cut off, expansion tank, water feeder and backflow valve and integrated into original system. Was able to get new system installed while keeping within the customers budget.

Here's a before and after of a Navien system I installed back in March of this year. Customer never had enough hot water to fill his large whirlpool bath. This system consists of a Navien combi boiler for heat and hot water and a Navien tankless water heater. The two systems share a common venting system and communicate with each other and sense the hot water demand and are able to provide up to 10 gallons a minute of endless hot water.

Here's a Navien combi system I installed last year with 4 remote mounted radiant manifolds around the home, I'm missing one photo of the zone panels I built. The system was designed to run at two different temps a higher temp for the staple up radiant and a lower temp for the in slab radiant. The extra un piped zone was for a future garage unit heater.
