Looks like Shane Okerlund got the question right, these are Sips (structural insulated panels) they are basically foam sandwiched between two layers of wafer board. This will be one of the most energy efficient homes to be built in the valley, they are also structurally stronger than conventional framing. I will update as the project progresses.

We were asked to do an addition and remodel on a home we built nearly 20 years ago plus a man cave- mother in law apartment-golf simulator room built onto the shop. We actually turned the job down once because it wouldn’t work into our schedule but our schedule changed and so we were able to do the project. We typically try to stick with new homes but occasionally If we have time we will take them on. Talk about a complete transformation. This home was beautiful to begin with but the changes and additions that were made took it to a whole new level. Thank you to the Southwick’s for letting us be a part of this project and dealing with all the construction mess throughout the project.
