There’s something about natural wood grain that is so beautiful. Like a finger print, always different and unique. This door was painted black when I first saw it. It gets a lot of sun during the day. Unfortunately paint and UVs do not mix well. When I got to it, the door was peeling and was in desperate need of some TLC. I knew I had something special when I removed it from the hinges and i felt the weight.. as I sanded away at the mangled paint chips the beauty of this natural piece of oak emerged. A real work of art. Warm, inviting, and one of a kind.. Just like home.
