We are looking for an enthusiastic Experienced Flooring Technician to join our company. You will lay down a variety of floor materials based on our client’s specifications. Other job duties include demolition and removal of existing flooring, sanding floors, as well as refinishing floors. Transporting materials and equipment, cleaning and preparing the floor surfaces, and applying epoxies and solvents when necessary. Our company works with large and small residential, and commercial projects. You must be proficient in using standard hand and power tools and familiar with different aspects of flooring installation.

Duties
Install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood and vinyl.
Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
Install underlayment and moisture barriers as needed
Lay out flooring patterns and ensure proper alignment
Secure flooring materials using adhesives, nails, staples, or other appropriate methods
Trim and finish edges of flooring materials and custom borders for a clean and professional look
Clean up work area and remove any debris after installation is complete
Work alongside other installers while emphasizing safety and efficient use of time and materials
Qualifications

2+ Years of Flooring and Carpentry experience required
Physical stamina and the ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must pass a drug screening
Must have valid drivers license with good driving record.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
