We like our art with a side of party

Come over to RoCo on Saturday, September 19 for a closing party from 6-9pm. Bring a date, bring a friend, or just bring yourself for a final look at Fire & Form, Detour by Aaron Steffer and Still, Moving by Katharine Torgerson.

There will also a monotype printmaking demonstration with artist and instructor Tarie Minchak, generously sponsored by Enkaustikos. Open to all ages and experience levels, participants will create their own unique encaustic print to take home. If you’ve wanted to try working with encaustic but never have, this is a great opportunity.

Things are coming up green around here! Keane's Green that is

There is a specific moment in early June when the landscape stops being polite. The pale, tentative buds of spring give way to what the poet John Steinbeck described as an explosion of leaf and blade. It is the time of year when the heart feels full simply because the leaves are green.
