Another win for the homeowner.

They’d already been working with another contractor, and the insurance company originally claimed there was no hail damage to the roof. We completed a detailed report for the homeowners to present to their insurance company.

From the actual email exchange:

Homeowner: “Please review Paul’s report for reconsideration of covered damages as a result of win and hail. Paul’s thoroughness and his attention to detail in his report is nothing short of top-notch professionalism. Paul has included many pictures of evidence and has cited third-party sources for reference as illustrated in pictures 36 and 37. He also provided a probability model comparison that mathematically shows that the evidence favors hail damage over competing hypotheses.”

Adjuster: “Good Afternoon. Thank you for sending this along. The report provided is extremely thorough and is a great resource for us as we have not yet seen a contractor use math to demonstrate that damages were caused by a covered peril. Please let us review this packet to determine next steps. We will follow-up with you within 1-2 business days to advise of our findings and the path forward.”

Result: the claim was approved and his roof is covered—and today we’re installing the new roof.

Finished this one up and it came out sharp. The roof is now protected with CertainTeed Max Def Weathered Wood shingles, and we gave the gables and cornices a clean, durable finish with standing seam metal.

The combination really elevates the whole look of the home while adding long-lasting performance. Another solid project completed by Phoenix Roofing and Exteriors.
