Job description
Alex’s Lawn & Turf/ DreamScapes is looking for a Fleet Mechanic to service our lawn care/ landscape and snow/ ice management vehicles and equipment. We have more than 20 years in the business- with over 25 employees, 20+ trucks and loaders, and over 100 pieces of equipment.
Applicants must be ASE certified, or have 5 years of professional mechanic experience. Organization, time-management, and fleet management skills are required. The positions will include ordering parts, price checking, and maintaining a budget.
VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED, and Class A drivers license is a plus.
Candidates must be able to diagnose and perform minor and major repairs, perform preventative maintenance, make unexpected repairs in the shop and in the field, and weld and fabricate proficiently. Candidates must have the ability to service all types of construction equipment. This includes:
Front-end loaders and Skid steers
Dump trucks
Pick-up trucks
Small engines
2-Stroke and 4-Stroke engines
Trailers
Excavators
Snow plows and salting equipment
Part time and Full time position available. Able to operate equipment a plus.
We are offering $22-28 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications.
