BEFORE photo;
We are currently working on building a big wrap around deck for a home in Broken Bow. The old deck was in really bad shape due in part to being very underbuilt / poorly built. The whole structure was in risk of collapse;

We tore everything out and are pouring deep and solid footings that will provide a good foundation for our framing;

I think there’s a few things that seperate a quality fence from a mediocre fence;
1. Everything being straight and level.
2. Having your fence boards sit on top of a treated base plate, this will prevent them from rotting out prematurely.
3. Using quality pass through gate hardware.
4. Not cheating out on framing and concrete. We never place our posts in dirt, each post gets at least 2 bags of concrete.

This fence we just finished highlights these points pretty well;

This was a pergola and fence project my wife and I just finished today. We reused the existing railings and wrapped the wood posts to enhance their appearance.
