Labor Day

A quick pool check before Labor Day

Labor Day weekend is less than two weeks away. If you are planning to use your pool, now is the time to tell us about cloudy water, algae, weak circulation, unusual equipment noise or a pool cleaner that is not working properly.

Reporting concerns early gives our team the best opportunity to evaluate them before the holiday weekend. Please do not wait until the day of your gathering to let us know something is wrong.

Pools scheduled for service on Labor Day WILL be serviced as normal!

Breezy weather can fill pool and pump baskets faster than expected.

Leaves and debris can restrict water flow, reduce cleaner performance and place unnecessary strain on pool equipment. Between service visits, homeowners should check accessible baskets and keep the pool at its proper water level.

If you notice weak circulation, unusual pump noise or a cleaner that has stopped moving, contact Swim Chem before a small issue becomes a larger repair

These whitish mounds are called calcium nodules. They are usually considered to be a problem, and they are, but more than that, they are really a symptom of a much bigger defect and problem which I will explain further in the videos in PART2.
