When I’m short on time and low on energy, this is what fights the fatigue for me:
- Mackerel (or sardines): packed with omega-3s, B12 and vitamin D Fishwife
- Eggs: great source of B2, B5, B12 vitamins, iron, and complete protein, good for sustaining energy
- Black sesame seeds: rich in fiber, antioxidants, iron, calcium and healthy fats
- Sourdough: provides steadier energy due to fermentation Bread Alone Bakery
- Parmesan: a little bit of calcium, protein and a little more B12
- Tomatoes: a good dose of vitamin C to help absorb iron from eggs and fish
- Cucumber: delivers refreshing hydration to the body as dehydration can also cause fatigue
I used to love cooking up elaborate meals for lunch and dinner but that’s hard to commit to these days. Also choosing to romanticize my meals by using dinnerware I’d normally use for special occasions and gosh what a game changer that has been!!! Transforming mundane routines into special moments by making tiny changes is such a crucial muscle to train as a mom 🙂↔️
