Finished up a kitchen repair today. The cabinet installer put up drywall with no tape or joint compound and didn't fix any of the other issues with the walls.

Pulled all the old trim that was flush with the previous drywall, replaced a section of drywall that was butted up to a piece of particle board and had a loose outlet box, taped and mudded all drywall joints and corners, filled gaps between the cabinets and ceiling, and replaced all the trim.

This customer wanted to finish the painting themselves, so my part is done and it looks so much better than what they started with!

Small job today.
The sink was not draining, I finally figured out that the Air Admittance Valve was too far away to allow air into the pipe (previously the far right corner), this created a vacuum lock of the system that refused to allow the water to go down.

I moved the AAV right next to the trap and the sink works perfectly now.

Followed up by replacing the cabinet bottom as it previously had a 6" hole through it created by water damage.

The client was very happy to have a working sink again!
