Love the way the 2 tone came out at this water front home. These customers have lived in this house for 35 years and we're ready to give their kitchen a face lift! We went with a blue/white 2 tone combo to match the ocean theme inside and outside the home. We also built this cool little window seat which doubles as a storage area for all the grandkids toys. This was a fun little project we did for our good friends Joey and Laura. They had just finished this beautiful front entrance remodel and asked us to build a little horizontal privacy fence around their generator. And since we love Joey and Laura and we also love all things horizontal here at TC&D...we jumped on the opportunity! So, we ripped down some 5/4 deck boards and routed the ripped side to match the round over factory edge that comes standard on these boards. Then we attached them to the sturdy 2x6 frame we built using stainless screws. It's sturdy, but moveable when it's time to service the generator. Yep, function and style baby! This is a project we did a while back, and I'm still really proud of it. A lot of hard work and love went into building this deck. We used matching horizontal slat boards on the planter boxes and to skirt the deck to tie into the horizontal fence boards that already existed. These are the kind of design aesthetics that I love bringing to each individual project. For many customers the planning/design phase can often be stressful. But we do our best to make it an enjoyable/fun process. It's IG official...my company Tarr Custom Carpentry and Design has been officially in business for a year and what a year it's been. From decks, to fences, to room remodels and custom built furniture for local businesses....we have been building a lot this year. So far every job has come from you, my friends, family and community. You've been the back bone of my business, and I can't thank you all enough for your trust and confidence in my work thus far. I've always been about the grass roots approach to business marketing, but it's time to show people the work I've been doing and reach out to others who have the desire to build amazing things in a creative, fun and trustworthy process.
