K.D. Madsen Kaitlyn Madsen is from St.Joseph, Missouri. Kaitlyn is a local artist, she chooses to work with all Kaitlyn works as a full time gardener at the Powell Gardens.

Kaitlyn is a local artist, she chooses to work with all mediums. Including sculpture and painting, with a particular interest in using recycled goods. As an alumni of Northwest Missouri State University, with a Bachelor in Fine Arts Studio in Painting and Sculpture, and a minor in Horticulture. Kansas City's Botanical Gardens. Particularly with visual displays in the Visitors Center, Conservatory as well as annual beds.
