And just like that… our LAST week of summer camp is here! 🥹🦣

This week, we’re getting a little wild with felting + animal making — and because apparently one mammoth is never enough, everyone is making their very own mammoth!

A whole summer of messy hands, big ideas, tiny masterpieces, new friendships, and way too many “look what I made!” moments.

Thank you for spending your summer with us. Now go make some other creative projects, and we’ll see you next year! ✨

Week 7! Last but not least, our beloved felting camp will wrap up our summer season ❤️

Lead by artist Fauna Fauna, Taxonomically Speaking , our campers are going to create their own very diorama of extinct animals and their habitat with felt and other mixed media. With her expert knowledge in biology, Fauna will share the story of mastodon and their history in Minnesota and teach campers how to craft their own miniature mammoths 🦣 We love a week where science meets arts ✨

Stay tuned to see what our campers will make this week 💫

Every puppet tells a story, and every artist left their mark. Thank you to our amazing campers, families, and artists for making this final Giant Puppet Parade Camp such a magical celebration. We can’t wait to see where your imaginations take you next. ❤️

A week full of building, sculpting, and big ideas. ✨

From building imaginative Art Cars to exploring the world of ceramics through clay and sculpture, our camps are about so much more than making crafts. Every project encourages our artists to think critically, solve problems, experiment with materials, and bring their own ideas to life.

If you’d like to see what our Art Car team has been working so hard on, stop by at mnartcarandartbike this Saturday! We’d love for you to see their creativity rolling through the streets and celebrate everything they’ve accomplished together.

Watching each camper’s unique vision come to life has been the best part of the week. We can’t wait to share it with you! 🧡

Form, movement, and colors ✨ Week 5 at Artlet26 summer camp is going to be another lively one!

Week 4 at Artlet26 brings back familiar art mediums, elevated through new techniques and fresh ways of thinking!

At Illustrated Mosaic & Marble Pots camp, students work with ceramic artist Laura Laura, learning how to layer, wedge, and throw two colors of clay to create beautiful marbled patterns in their pottery. They will then join Anna anna weimholt to explore illustration through clay and mosaic, designing and creating their own illustrative-style ceramic trays 🏺🌿

In Primeval Creation camp, students dive into the incredible history of ancient creatures and animals with Fauna Fauna, Taxonomically Speaking. Guided by her, they’ll design and make silicone molds to cast their own unique creatures. Later in the week, campers will build habitats for their creations and bring them to life through stop-motion animation.🦕🍄

Week Three has been filled with imagination, storytelling, and sculptures coming to life. ✨

This week, our campers explored photography by learning to see the world through a different lens, capturing thoughtful compositions and experimenting with creative perspectives. In the sculpture studio, they transformed simple materials into three-dimensional works full of personality, problem-solving, and play.

Meanwhile, our young authors and illustrators have been dreaming up their very own books—writing stories, designing characters, illustrating every page, and carefully bringing their ideas together from cover to cover.

Every week reminds us that creativity looks different for every child, and it’s such a joy watching them discover new ways to express themselves while building confidence in the process.

Here’s a little glimpse into Week Three at Artlet. We can’t wait to see what next week will bring. 📚📷🗿✨
