Kitchen cabinet job before and afters! We sanded, primed and painted these cabinets to give them a fresh new look. We also filled in the gaps on both the end cabinet and the cabinet above the microwave and fixed the sagging hinges. The light above the sink is being replaced and the home owners are eventually painting the ceilings and the walls in the kitchen but wanted to call us to bring their cabinets to life!

Another tired deck brought back to life! 👏

This backyard deck had quite a bit of peeling and weathered paint throughout. After it had been pressure washed, we got to work scraping and sanding the entire deck to remove the loose, failing finish and create a solid surface for the new coating.

Once the prep was complete, we applied two coats of finish throughout the deck, railings, steps and lattice. We also repaired the broken lattice around the base to clean everything up and complete the transformation.

Plum Island (Part 1) 🏝️
Jeff and Erin’s home has a brand-new look! This was one of the biggest restoration projects we’ve taken on.

The previous paint job wasn’t sealed properly, allowing water to get behind the siding, which led to extensive rot and peeling paint. The street-facing side of the home proved to be especially challenging, but we were up for it. 😅

We replaced both the wide siding boards and the 2-inch battens where needed, stripped and prepared the existing wood, and primed every new board on all sides before installation to fully seal the wood. Every knot was also spot-primed three times with oil-based AllPrime to help prevent bleed-through in the finish coat.

We pride ourselves on our prep work and attention to detail!. We never cut corners. Every surface is thoroughly scraped, sanded, primed, and caulked before receiving two finish coats. The battens were properly caulked on both sides to help prevent future water intrusion, while still allowing the siding system to breathe through the designed air space behind the boards.

Another successful exterior transformation completed on Plum Island! These before-and-after photos showcase the areas we restored on the front of the home, excluding the front door and siding surrounding the entrance.

Our process included removing all failing paint, thoroughly sanding the surface smooth, applying a coat of oil-based primer, performing a final finish sanding, and then applying two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams exterior paint for a durable, long-lasting finish.

The result is a refreshed, protected exterior that will look great for years to come.

Rocks Village-
We do carpentry repairs as part of our services, but not usually garage door panels, but for our customers, we go above and beyond.
They were told the door couldn’t be fixed… they needed a new door.
That’s where CBCHP took over.
As the beginning pics show, they tried patching the door for years, but the handle kept pulling off.
We removed the outside panel, then the rotted frame pieces and replaced with new pine. Primed the bottom piece and the new T- 111 panel and hardware inside and out, then finish painted. Done!
