A couple of more fun angles from our recent interior remodel in Sugar House!

Our goal at this home was to create an updated floor plan that was functional for hosting, but that also fit with the home. This included maintaining the location of each room while also making strategic updates to improve the functionality of each space, such as opening the dining room and kitchen to each other and adding more storage throughout.

If we were to tell you that this kitchen used to be a small, closed-off room, would you believe us?

A few years ago we met with the owners of this home to come up with a plan for their interior layout. They loved their location, but they wanted a primary suite as well as a larger and more open kitchen. We designed a floor plan that accomplishes both of these goals, and more, and then divided the construction into 2 phases.

The 1st phase was completed a few years ago and included a rear addition for the primary suite, laundry area, and office. The 2nd phase wrapped up this year and included opening up the closed-off kitchen and reworking the layout to maximize the space. Now they have one central living space with the kitchen, living room, and dining room all together.

Yesterday, Annie and Leezanna attended the Companies Championing Women luncheon. The lunch was a great opportunity to connect and reconnect with other businesses in our community and learn about all of the great initiatives out there to help women succeed in the workplace.

We are honored to be recognized for our efforts with an award. One that our entire team is proud of!

Every day we work on coming up with custom solutions that improve homeowners lives. Whether is be moving a wall, adding on, or updating an existing space, our goal at the end of the day is to have created a space that is functional for you and your family, including your dog 🐶.

At this home, we did just that and added over 4 features for the dog. This included 2 gates, a dog door, and a custom dog bath.

This main floor bathroom underwent quite the transformation! Swipe through to see some before and afters of the space.

Here’s what we did:
- Reconfigured the layout by moving the tub to the exterior wall
- Relocated the sink to where the tub was to maximize the space
- Removed a small, awkward water closet to make room for additional storage and to eliminate an extra door that was often in the way
- Expanded the bathroom into an existing linen closet for more room

It can be hard to trust the process when your yard has a giant hole in it or your entire kitchen is ripped out, but in the end, the wait is worth it.

When our Wasatch Hollow New Build project was under construction, the homeowners patiently waited while the team framed the house, added windows, and installed all the finishing touches. Now they have this dreamy back deck that is perfect for just about any gathering!

Want to see the inside? Photos from meagan larsen photography should be on our website next week šŸ‘€.

Why did we make a large bedroom in this home’s basement smaller?

The existing bedroom was huge with an accordion door in the middle and multiple closets. Reducing the size of the bedroom, gave us room for another bathroom, a wet bar (not pictured), two closets, and still plenty of room in the bedroom.
