Get ready for tons of fun as we kick off the 40th Annual All-America City Family Picnic in the Park with the Stars & Spokes Kids' Parade and Music Hour! Join us at 4:00 PM at Ballard Park near the All-Inclusive Playground for music, dancing, and excitement with the one and only Blind Eye DJ, Mr. Ron Cottom!

The Lee County Solid Waste Transfer Station at Skyline will accept up to nine tires a week from individuals and small commercial vendors. Recommended you call (662) 844-2003 or (662) 523-7167 before you travel to the transfer station to dispose of your used tires. Tires for recycling are accepted on a space-available basis. The transfer station is located east of Skyline off U.S. 178. Look for County Road 1282 and follow the signs.

Our Homeless Task Force recently conducted a night outreach to identify individuals living in their vehicles. During this outreach, we met a very kind expectant mother. Given her situation, we referred her to our partners at S.A.F.E., Inc. She has since safely welcomed her baby and is currently in temporary housing. We invite you to help S.A.F.E. turn her empty new house into a home!

S.A.F.E., Inc. is assisting a single mother who just welcomed a beautiful baby girl this week. They have secured an apartment for her and her baby, and she will be moving in within the next few days. While she has a bassinet, she urgently needs nursery furniture and baby-related items.

Additionally, any donations of other furniture—such as couches, tables, chairs, lamps, artwork, bed linens, towels, and kitchen items—would be greatly appreciated.

S.A.F.E. is also in constant need of cleaning supplies, hygiene products, trash bags, diapers, and wipes, particularly in larger sizes and pull-ups. Thank you for your support!

✅ Junk, debris, and discarded materials should not be accumulated on residential or commercial properties.

✅ Vehicles should be properly licensed and operable when stored on a property, unless otherwise permitted by the Development Code.

Maintaining your property helps protect neighborhood appearance, property values, and public health and safety.
