Every kid's summer looks a little different... ours apparently includes a strong interest in demolition. 😂

Cord stopped by the job site for a quick visit and was determined to help take off a cabinet door. After giving it his best shot, Calvin stepped in to show him how it's done. Of course, the second it came off, Cord's response was, "I want to do it again!" 🤣

Safe to say the curiosity is there, and watching him get excited about building and remodeling is pretty fun.

🏡 This kitchen is about to get a whole new life!

In this remodel, we're doing much more than updating cabinets and finishes. We're extending the kitchen into the old mudroom, raising the floor to create one continuous space, opening up a few walls, adding a beam where it's needed, and installing a new back door to completely transform the flow of the home.

Projects like this are our favorite because it's amazing to see how a few structural changes can make a home feel bigger, brighter, and so much more functional for everyday living.

When we're designing a space, Caitlin likes to walk through the home with our clients and talk about how they actually live. Where will you charge your phone? Where will the coffee maker go? Do you want a spot for holiday decorations, a robot vacuum, or your favorite reading lamp?

Her rule of thumb? If you think you have enough outlets, add a few more. Chances are you'll be glad you did!
