Dear friends, my apologies for not being active this past year. I have not lost my interest in creating woodcrafts, and/or doing woodworking, but rather lost focus. As a retired veteran, I struggle at times, and this time, it lasted longer.

However, with that said, I am refocusing on what I am doing, and getting back to what I love. I am scaling down some of my woodworking, and already preparing my woodshop/area to start things back up again at the local level.

Ok big debate here. I have two cowboy boot cutting boards made from Maple. So the cutting boards or serving trays will be durable. The question is should I add handles to the sides? My concern is that thd handles will take away the shape. Thoughts ?

Nothing better than completing a project!!! Finally the outdoor patio table is finished and a few days early. This pecan cookie 36 inches in diameter by 6 inches thick required four hours of planing and sanding and three layers of epoxy. This table is about 50 pounds with metal legs and will hold up in the Texas sun! Perfect for the back deck or pool.

As a continuous to the 36 inch patio table that I am making. I am finally in the final stages. Tomorrow I will sand and polish this table up and get it ready for delivery by Saturday! As part of my work in progress on thd outdoor patio table. Here is the second third phasers. I am in the last half of the work, and After several hours of sanding and defining the tabletop lines; I am now able to pour the epoxy in phases to absorb into the tabletop deep cuts. In the second picture you can begin to see how the epoxy color is defining the tabletop look that will give it an unique look. Once fully harden, I will re-sand and pour the final epoxy coating. Keep following to see the final stages.

I have been sanding and planning this large 36 inch x 6 inch pecan cookie in order to make an outside patio table. Over the next few days I will be adding epoxy and sanding a lot more. Keep posted as I make progress and see the final product.

A busy few days as I complete some woodworking projects. I love the 24”x24”x1 1/2” maple countertop cutting board with a juice groove. This is going to add to any kitchen area. And just in time for Valentine’s Day, a couple of wood crafts; cowboy boots with Texas spurs and a Valentine’s truck with hearts. PM for details.
