Downtime activities 💖

Found my sketchbook again so figured I would show off some doodles. Learning to crochet as well, and just completed my first halfway decent granny square! (If you look closely at the second photo, you can actually see Deku cuddling with it 😭❤️) I also started on a fun classic car painting since I don’t have any current commissions, and I thought it might be fun to test my skills with some new subject matter.

Kilo the Tactical pup has made it to his new home! I was sent a few reference pics for this guy but the photo of him in his little doggie cammies was just TOO CUTE to pass up 😭💚 and it was a fun little challenge as well! After my current pet portrait is finished and shipped out, I’ll be working on some different stuff. Stay tuned to see what else is in the works! 😁

Been working very hard on a new style to bring my late dog, Buster, back to life. Pushing the boundaries of realism like this was intimidating at first, but the lessons and techniques I’m learning are invaluable. This piece has given me new perspective and opened doors to growth that I never thought possible. Doors I never allowed myself to open until now. I’m so excited to see what the rest of 2026 has in store!
