Harvested my first batch of Elderberry here on the homestead!
Now to start on my tincture. This will take 3 weeks before I can make my syrup and add the local honey.

To me itโ€™s better for my family to have it shelf stable. Less room in my fridge to take up and it lasts for 1 year instead of 1 month once opened!

Our Trinidad Scorpion pepper plant finally has a pepper on it! I bet my next batch of salsa will be pretty hot ๐Ÿฅต

Also have yall ever seen an okra flower before? I donโ€™t know if I did something wrong or if itโ€™s supposed to do that but it was pretty!

Every year I have tried to plant a garden since weโ€™ve lived here, and this is the first year itโ€™s been successful. So never give up!!
