The centerpiece of this La Jolla home is a breathtaking 20’ x 6’ island—designed to bring everyone together while making a bold statement.

Paired with 84 inches of integrated Gaggenau refrigeration and a full suite of premium appliances, this kitchen perfectly balances luxury, function, and timeless design.

Part 1 | The Details

Every once in a while, a project comes along that reminds us why we love what we do. This La Jolla home is one of them.

Designed by Amanda Byrne of AB Design Studio and built by Borrelli Design, this home features Leeuwenburgh Lignapal veneer throughout, Wurzcraft solid walnut beaded doors, solid walnut dovetail drawers, Cambria quartz with a custom solid brass inlay, Rev-A-Shelf storage solutions, walnut drawer organizers, a custom dog feeding station, and a hidden pantry complete with an integrated wine refrigerator, prep sink, and illuminated shelving.

And this is only Part 1.

Not every client wants the TV to be the focal point… and honestly, we get it.

This custom piece was designed for a home with floor to ceiling windows and incredible views. The goal was simple: don’t block them.

With the push of a button, the TV rises when you want it and disappears completely when you don’t. Clean, functional, and built to keep the focus where it belongs.

This is what custom design is all about. Building around how you actually live.
