Ever since I was in my twenties, I looked up to older people who glowed with happiness and fulfillment. rseback, my plan seems to be working. I feel more fit and healthy today that I was in my mid-40’s. The older I get, the more my investment in regular exercise (swimming, gardening, hiking, grandchildren chasing :-) and gym workouts), plus great nutrition, positive thinking, loving relationships and a sense of purpose in my work are paying huge dividends. When we’re younger, we can rebound from a poor diet or lack of sleep or exercise. At 40 (or even before), we begin to get the face and body we deserve. If we’re good stewards of our health, we thrive and can feel beautiful at any age. If not, we start to lose our youthfulness and quality of life. I start every morning with a time for gratitude and getting my heart and mind ready and open for the day. I make sure to fuel my body with fresh picked greens in a nutrition packed green smoothie. I love working from home and make exercise and enjoying the garden a priority. My husband and I nurture our relationship with beach walks and lots of laughter with our grandchildren. My intention is to keep expanding the community of like-minded people who want to life their life to the plus at any age!
