All solar installations are NOT created equal.

Today we found a solar circuit where one of the wires wasn’t tightened AT ALL.

This caused the wire to overheat chronically and so severely that it charred the wire’s insulation from red to black!

Luckily, the homeowner didn’t suffer an electrical fire, but this type of issue is exactly how electrical fires can start.

Charged Up EVs has procedures in place to ensure this NEVER happens.

But our customers are waiting for installs! So we did what we had to do to make it happen, including driving 7 hrs one way this morning to pick up 3 Powerwalls from a distributor that had available stock.

Introducing our newest team member - the Cybertruck!

Already pulling his weight on installs, he provided power for a home for 24 hrs during a complicated panel change so there was minimal disruption in service for our clients.

He will also help us with the installation of Powerwalls, as well as moving other heavy equipment for our large projects this year.

We finally received our Tesla Powerwall Dolly.

In layman’s terms, it’s a special dolly made by Tesla for mounting Powerwalls due to the size (and weight 💪) of them.

This will definitely make the job easier on our upcoming Powerwall installs for local home owners!
