Coastal Moon Art

Coastal Moon Art handmade one of a kind ceramic, calligraphy & painting pieces inspired by the beautiful world we live in Each piece I create is unique and one of a kind.

Coastal Moon Art started in 2016 as a way to share my art with the world. I use many bright colors & fun designs that brighten up its surrounding. My journey with ceramics started over 10 years ago and I have been creating ever since. This has led to other passions such as painting, calligraphy, watercolor and photography. I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible beginning with each piece's creation up until using the packaging materials.

For Santa Barbara’s Summer Solstice festival, 60 artists were selected to paint these little elephants with their creative expression while raising awareness for elephant conservation 🐘🩢

You can find the herd on exhibit:
* March 21st & 22nd, 1 - 6pm at 409 State St
The β€œtrunk” show & auction:
* March 26th, 5-8pm at 1219 State St

Meet Walter Waltz. He loves spending time in the water, and also loves to let loose and dance. He’s fun!

Elephants have a natural relationship with water. They drink large amounts and relay on waterholes for cooling and socializing. They are strong swimmers and use their trunks as snorkels. Both oceans and elephants represent long journeys. And here we are, also on our journey of life.

What happens on land eventually reaches the ocean and so conservation requires protecting the whole planet, not just one habitat. I used acrylic paint and then added some rhinestones to create a fun, festive flair.

I hope you’re able to check out this fun exhibit!
