I go to work to relax and be creative. I love my job and love that my clients trust me to do what I love in their spaces.

For a few years work has also been an escape from my home life. Each day I would dread coming home because I had a child who was spiraling out of control. I never knew what I was coming home to, would it be another emergency room visit? Would it be be screamed at as her anger at feeling helpless peaked and looked for someone to blame. Designing a stunning garden is like painting, you choose textures and colors that compliment each other, you pair them and place them in a way that leads the eye through the garden. When you are looking at one of these gardens you should feel a sense of wonder and joy that pulls you into these spaces and satisfies you in a magical way.

This is a lavish-dog. It got high praise from the family.

I had whole wheat lavish bread from Trader Joe’s and large beef hot dogs. I added cheese, ketchup and mustard and rolled it all up. Decorate the top with cheese, mustard and ketchup. Then I baked it for 15-20 minutes at 425 degrees.
