Cleaned up and refreshed this side yard area with limestone rock, w**d barrier, and a simple low maintenance layout.

We also added stepping stones to help make the space feel more functional and finished without overcomplicating it.

Projects don’t always need to be massive overhauls to make a space feel cleaner, brighter, and easier to maintain. Small changes can go a long way in helping reduce w**ds, mud, and ongoing upkeep over time.

Sometimes simple is the best fit.

Today was all about sprinkler adjustments and small irrigation repairs.

Proper water coverage makes a huge difference, especially heading into the hotter months. Dry spots, overspray, and poor sprinkler coverage can lead to stressed plants, wasted water, and unnecessary maintenance issues over time.

Today’s adjustments were focused on improving coverage, reducing overspray, and making sure the surrounding landscape gets the water it needs without excess runoff or waste.

Sometimes the small adjustments are what keep a landscape looking its best.

Every landscape has different challenges, especially when working with sloped beds and existing materials.

For this project, we refreshed the granite rock and softened the slope as much as possible to help reduce material moving into the driveway, while being careful not to disturb the existing gardenias and blue daze already established in the bed.

We also discussed longer term options, like adding a small knee wall for better retention if they decide to take that next step later on.

Not every project needs a complete overhaul. Sometimes the right approach is improving what’s already there while planning ahead for future upgrades.

Fresh red mulch installed throughout these landscape beds 🌿

Mulch may seem like a small detail visually, but it does a lot more than just freshen up the appearance of a property. It helps retain moisture around plants, suppress w**ds, reduce erosion from heavy Florida rains, and gives landscape beds a cleaner, more maintained look overall.

Sometimes the smaller landscape details are what help keep a property looking good long term.

Before ➡️ After on this tropical backyard refresh 🌴

This yard already had an awesome natural canopy and tropical feel. The goal was to clean it up, define the space better, and make it feel brighter and more usable without losing the character of the property.

Installed fresh shell, timber edging, mulch, and cleaned up the layout to give the whole backyard a more finished, low maintenance feel while still keeping it natural and relaxed.

Simple changes can completely change how a space feels. 🌿

Behind every nice home, busy family, and beautiful yard, there’s usually a mom doing more than anyone realizes. Today is a good reminder to slow down and appreciate the women who hold everything together.

Front yard transformation completed.

This one was all about simplifying the landscape, cleaning up the overgrowth, and giving the bed a more balanced tropical look without making it feel crowded. Removed the old overgrown material, transplanted the Bird of Paradise, added fresh arbicola, another pygmy date palm, liriope border accents, fresh mulch, and reshaped the layout to flow with the house.
