Since things have slowed down a little bit, I thought I would share some of the fun we have had over the last few months. We have gotten really good at pulling weeds because they had overgrown the plants. We also did not have time to wait for herbicides. Here are some before and after pictures.

Many people don't realize the many areas that we can help out in the lawn. With years of experience, I have learned to do trimming with a hand saw (battery powered) that leads to drastic results.

The new Stihl battery powered mower got a lot of work today after all the rain we got. With the thicker grass, we sped up the blades so it makes it a little louder.

A great project to start Silent Shade Landscaping. Thank you Monty Clark with Savatree for trusting us and helping with the project. We planted 2 Banyan Trees at 500 gallons each, 2 Live Oak trees at 8 inch Diameter at Breast Height(DBH) and 4 Live Oaks at 6 inch DBH, 5 seagrapes in 45 gallon, 10 Seagrapes in 3 gallon and 100 Muhly grass plus drip irrigation on all of them.

Thank you to Stihl and Everglades Farm Equipment for getting us set up with all the battery powered edgers, blower, trimmer, weedeater, and pushmower. They also recommended and supplied us with enough batteries along with chargers for Commercial usage. With all the new equipment, please let us know if you are ready for a quieter option.

After much prayer and wise counsel, we have felt led to start an all electric landscaping company. After my father passed away, I was inspired and encouraged with the impact he had on many people's lives. I believe it is my great opportunity now to start my own landscape company working with my son. Because the farm I grew up on was called Silent Shade, I decided to name the landscaping business this with the added intention that the electric equipment will lead to a more "silent" way of landscaping.
