Moved some things around to make this bathroom more functional & had a little fun with color while we were at it. The large window wall on the last slide is now home to a soaking tub/shower & the new vanity now lives where the old shower once did. We added a much smaller window for privacy that highlights the neighboring trees rather than the house directly next door. And we eliminated the large closet entrance, moving it to the hallway, to now house our client’s W/D. Because a laundry room directly across from bedrooms? A dream!!

A few after’s, a few during’s, but no before’s because we built this new bathroom as an addition off our client’s bedroom to give them a primary suite. Specific trim, custom-built shutters, & an antique door for the WC were added to make this new space feel right at home in their 1910 house.

“Welcoming, functional, elegant” — the three descriptive words our client’s gave us when asked how they wanted their new kitchen to feel. It brings us so much joy knowing they get to ring in the New Year with what feels like a new home.

This project was our largest in 2025. It included a complete overhaul of their walls constructed in 1910—a place they’ve called home for almost 30 years. Where they raised their girls. And where they’re now creating new memories as empty nesters.

We’ll continue sharing photos this week of the spaces we touched, and consequently, touched us too. 🤎

Best spaces to go outside of your comfort zone? Mudrooms & bathrooms. Noncommittal & non-boring. 👨🏼‍🎨🎨

Before and afters of a recent catch-all space we reimagined into a mudroom by moving the W/D upstairs across from our client’s primary suite. Custom designed bench + storage cabinets help make this room both functional and easy on the eyes.

Recent work. 🤎 We went with a subtle green on the ceiling to pair with the green we selected for the walls when reimagining this once living room into our client’s new dining room, helping to ensure the room remained soft. And the neutrals selected for the spaces surrounding the dining room allow it to really shine. I love how the time of day can change how a space feels—and that these greens remain cozy in any lighting.
