BRAND NEW Lake Redstone & Dutch Hollow Lake Boat Dock Pest Control!! Our Boat Dock Pest Control program aims to get rid of spiders, wasps, mud daubers, and all of their surrounding nests, webs, and shelter. When our neighbors asked for us to check out their Boat Dock on Lake Redstone we were shocked to see how many Long-jawed Orb Weaver Spiders were on their Boat Dock. We found through trial and error a method that keeps Spiders and other pests away by removing their egg sacks, removing their webs, and pressure spraying our All Natural Solution to eliminate any remaining pests on the dock. We use an all natural product of essential oils in order to get rid of spiders while protecting the aquatic life in lakes while using the Natural Product helps protect the fish, it only has a residual of about 3-4 weeks. Our Boat Dock Pest Control program serves you by coming out to your dock every 21-25 days by boat and treating your entire dock. Call today at (815)440-8574 to get started!

A useful first visit starts with two questions: What needs attention today, and what could put pressure on your home next?

Listening gives your technician the priorities. Inspection adds context, helping separate the active concern from seasonal risks worth watching. That way, the service plan reflects what's happening now without losing sight of what may change.

Removing one mouse nest gives you one location, not a map of every route or shelter site mice may be using.

After safe cleanup, monitor by room and area. Note where fresh droppings, gnawing, disturbed food, or repeated sounds appear. Signs returning in the same spot suggest continued activity there. Signs appearing elsewhere show the issue is not confined to the place you cleaned.

PCC can inspect the pattern, identify areas of activity and potential access points, then provide ongoing rodent control and quarterly monitoring.

Travel doesn't automatically mean bed bugs came home with you. A quick routine before you store your luggage helps you check instead of guess.

Set the suitcase on a hard floor away from beds and upholstered furniture. In good light, inspect the suitcase's seams and pockets. Empty clothes directly into the laundry, then wash and dry them as the fabric permits. Check the suitcase again before putting it away.

One unexplained mark isn't confirmation. If you find multiple signs such as dark spots, shed skins, or a suspected live bed bug, keep belongings from moving room to room and schedule service.

A pale speck near a mattress seam is a clue, not a diagnosis.

The case grows stronger when a possible egg appears with separate physical signs such as shed skins, dark spots, or a suspected live bed bug. Photograph what you found and note its exact location. Then leave everything nearby in place. Carrying belongings room to room can move suspected activity with them.

When several signs point to bed bugs, stop guessing and let PCC determine the right service for the situation.

A web beside a porch light and a web that keeps returning in a basement don't carry the same weight.

Outside, a reachable web near a door or light may simply mark a spot where flying insects gather. If you can reach it safely from the ground, brush it away and monitor the cleaned area.

Indoors, the threshold changes. Webs or sacs that return after cleanup, especially across several rooms, suggest more than an isolated cleanup. That's when PCC can inspect the broader pest pressure and put ongoing protection in place.

A cool morning can make tick season feel finished. A mild fall day can tell a different story.

Mild fall days can keep adult blacklegged ticks, often called deer ticks, active and searching for a host. The end of summer isn't a dependable reason to stop checking.

After yard work or time near brush and leaf litter, check your clothing before settling in. If the clothes are dry, tumble dry them on high heat for 10 minutes. Then check your body carefully, including behind your knees, around your waist, and in and around your hair.

A property has patterns. Good recurring service learns to recognize them.

Quarterly visits give the team context: where activity has appeared before, what has changed, and which parts of your home deserve a closer look this time. That familiarity keeps each visit connected to the last instead of treating your address like a brand-new stop.

One insect you can't identify leaves room to note the location and watch for another sign.

The decision changes when sightings repeat, activity appears during the day, or signs turn up in more than one area. That pattern is more useful than guessing how many may be hiding. It also isn't a verdict on your housekeeping.

Professional roach treatment should begin with identification. Different cockroach species behave differently, so PCC first identifies what's active and where the evidence is concentrated before recommending the right service.

A rodent plan needs more than a first visit.

PCC's Rodent Protection Plan starts by identifying potential access points and the areas where activity is showing up. We then place professional bait stations based on what the property is telling us.

Monthly monitoring keeps the service connected to current activity instead of relying on that first day's picture. That ongoing attention is what makes this a plan, not a one-time trap drop.

That broom can wait.

Dry sweeping or vacuuming rodent droppings can send contaminated particles into the air. Keep children and pets away from a routine small cleanup area while you open doors and windows. Then leave it to air out for 30 minutes.

Return with rubber or plastic gloves. Soak the droppings with household disinfectant until very wet and follow the label's contact time. Wipe them up only after that time has passed, then bag the waste.

Before removing the gloves, wash your gloved hands. Take them off and wash your bare hands with soap and warm water.

Heavy contamination or a large affected area needs the CDC's higher-protection guidance, not this short routine. PCC can address rodent activity, but we don't provide contamination cleanup.
