The mission of Tracks to Our Past is to raise awareness for the Electric City Trolley Museum Association and offer the residents of NEPA increased access to our rich historical past as the birthplace of electric street cars. Leadership Lackawanna’s Class of 2011 is teaming up with the Electric City Trolley Museum Association to enhance Lackawanna County’s cultural experience and preserve an import

ant part of its history. Together, they’ve created “Tracks to Our Past.” “Tracks to Our Past” is a 10-month project that will consist of renovating “Bay 4” inside the museum which will supply additional room for exhibitions and also provide more event space for the community to utilize. In the future, this area will also house Transit Car #324 – one of the only surviving, original electric trolley cars that ran through Scranton in the early 20th Century; and organizing a “Speakeasy Soiree” party on 3/24/2011.
