Penny Residence Exterior Repaint – Front Transformation

Shortly after closing on their beautiful home in Suncrest Farms, Granite Falls, the homeowners began noticing major paint failure and peeling throughout the exterior. Unfortunately, the original builder failed to properly prepare the surfaces and did not use the required primers before applying the finish coats.

This home required extensive prep work, including scraping, caulking, priming, masking, and detailed surface preparation to ensure a long-lasting finish done the right way.

For the new color scheme, we used:
• Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Modern Gray Satin on the trim
• Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Grizzle Gray Low Sheen on the body
• Sherwin-Williams Iron Ore Low Sheen on the accents
• Pro Industrial High Gloss Black on the garage brackets

The result gave this home an entirely new life, adding depth, contrast, and a bold dimensional profile that truly makes it stand out from the surrounding homes in the neighborhood.

We’re incredibly grateful to Nichole Penny and her family for trusting us with their home. Seeing their excitement and satisfaction with the final result made this project even more rewarding. It was an honor helping this amazing couple correct these issues and give their home the fresh start it deserved in such a great community.

Work starts today on this Suncrest Farms home in Granite Falls with a major focus on preparation and detail work. The crew spent the day scraping, priming, caulking, and completing extensive masking to get every surface ready for finish coats. Multiple ladders were set up across the project to reach the higher walls and trim areas safely and efficiently.

The garage brackets were sprayed in a gloss black finish, while the trim received two coats of SuperPaint Satin Modern Gray with a back-roll application for an even, durable finish. Work also began with SuperPaint Low Sheen Grizzle Gray on the garage doors, setting the stage for the upcoming Iron Ore accent areas and the final Grizzle Gray body color application.

With immense pride and satisfaction, we announce that the Cheesman project has reached its triumphant completion, with the site meticulously cleaned and perfectly prepared for handover. Despite the intricate details involved, we've successfully conquered every task on the punch list, ensuring every aspect shines with finality. The transformation is nothing short of remarkable, brought to life with Charwood semi-transparent super deck, caviar super paint satin - caviar pro industrial satin- pewter gray superpaint low sheen, and pro black on the garage brackets. Furthermore, a final Helmsman clear satin finish was masterfully applied to all wood soffits, elevating the outcome to amazing heights. With hearts full of joy and confidence, we're now poised to embark on the next exciting project.

Cheesman residence
Today we finally made it around to the front of this incredible home and it all came together in a spectacular way. The satin caviar trim is now complete, the pewter gray body is fully finished, and the entire project is finally taking shape exactly the way we envisioned it.

All of the clear coat Helmsman soffit areas are completed, the Pro Industrial garage doors and deck beams are finalized, and the masking has officially come down. Now we are down to the final touch-ups throughout the property.

This transformation turned out beyond perfect. The contrast between the pewter gray body and the rich satin caviar accents gives this home a bold, timeless, high-end appearance that absolutely stands out.

Tomorrow morning we begin the next phase with the Charwood SuperDeck semi-transparent coating on the deck and railing systems to bring everything together from top to bottom.

It has been a long journey filled with hard work, precision, and dedication from the crew, but seeing this level of craftsmanship come to life is extremely satisfying. We are almost there. 🔥🏡🎨💪⚫️⚪️
