RIP Howard Dumble. That guy had quite the ear for what sounds good, and knew how to design amplifiers to get that good sound.

Bill M, of "Bill M mods" has died. Sad day. He added a lot to the guitar amplifier culture, and helped many people get the tone they were seeking. RIP Bill M

My brother, at the Kimock Gig in Felton, CA tonight. He sent me an email that read: "Look who I met today. He told me he keeps your amp at his house and he plays it all the time when he's home and he loves it." I built Steve (Kimock) an amp last year built on some ideas we traded back and forth. Makes me very happy (and my wife too!) to hear it is getting some use by someones who's music we love so much! ;-)

Got an Orange AD200 Bass amp in the shop for re-biasing. I had to re-work the bias circuit. Someone in the past had gutted the amp and completely re-built it with hand wiring and a turret board. Nice! Only problem was, the bias circuit had not enough range. Now it's fixed! :-) Plate voltages are ~ 680V....scary !
