Project Spotlight: Washer & Dryer Enclosure Build 🔧🚪

This laundry nook started out as a pair of appliances living their best “free-range” life, surrounded by enough exposed pipes and venting to qualify as modern art. We stepped in to bring order to the chaos and build out a clean, functional enclosure worthy of the home.

✅ Framed a new closet-style enclosure around the stacked washer and dryer
✅ Installed drywall, taped, mudded, sanded, and matched existing textures
✅ Prepped and painted the enclosure for a clean, finished look
✅ Built proper access points so plumbing and venting remain serviceable
✅ Improved organization and visual appeal without changing appliance layout

Now this laundry space looks intentional, functional, and downright civilized — a major upgrade from its formerly feral origins. A small project with a big impact, Crafted with Care and Built to Last.

Project Spotlight: Garage Rebuild & Weatherproofing Upgrade 🔧🏡

What started as a simple siding refresh turned into a full structural rescue. This detached garage was hiding more surprises than a Seattle pothole — crooked framing, failing sheathing, water intrusion, and a roof edge that had given up the fight years ago. Here’s how we brought it back to life:

✅ Removed all failing siding and exposed the original framing
✅ Rebuilt all three walls to proper 16” on-center spacing
✅ Installed new sheathing, WRB, and HardiePanel siding
✅ Sealed compromised roof edges with reinforced tar
✅ Completed full exterior painting with a durable finish

This garage didn’t just get a facelift — it got a second chance. Stronger framing, better water management, and long-term weather protection, all built to handle whatever the Pacific Northwest throws at it. Another project Crafted with Care and Built to Last.

Project Spotlight: Outdoor Stair Riser Rebuild 🪚🎨

These stairs were holding on for dear life — creaky boards, peeling paint, and a railing that leaned like it had seen some things. We stepped in (literally) to bring them back from the brink:

✅ Removed all old step boards and that battle-worn iron railing
✅ Replaced rotted studs and reinforced the framing underneath
✅ Secured and reinstalled the railing so it’s steady, not shady
✅ Scraped off years of old paint and applied bonding primer for grip
✅ Repainted everything with a durable finish fit for Seattle weather

Now this entryway is safer, stronger, and easier on the eyes — proof that even a tired staircase can get a second act when it’s Crafted with Care and Built to Last.

Project Spotlight: Concrete Subfloor Leveling & Prep 🏗️✨

This Mukilteo condo floor had more ups and downs than a roller coaster, and laminate flooring doesn’t love that kind of adventure. Our mission: get the concrete subfloor flat, stable, and ready for a flawless install — all before the new flooring arrived.

✅ Protected walls, cabinets, and fixtures with full site prep
✅ Ground down high spots and feathered low areas smooth as glass
✅ Repaired cracks and patched voids for long-term stability
✅ Applied self-leveling underlayment across 650 sq ft for perfect tolerance
✅ Verified finish flatness and cleaned up spotless

It took a few bags of underlayment, a couple of diamond discs, and a healthy dose of patience — but now this floor is smooth, strong, and level within 3/16" across 10 feet. Another project Crafted with Care and Built to Last (and safe for socks again).

Project Spotlight: Fjällräven Seattle – Store Refurbishment & Upgrades 🧰🏬

We recently teamed up with Fjällräven’s Seattle crew to breathe new life into their Pike Place store — the retail equivalent of swapping a well-worn trail pack for a brand-new one. Finish carpentry, wall rebuilds, electrical upgrades — all crafted with care and Swedish-level precision.

✅ Rebuilt wall finishes behind the former glass display counter for a clean, professional look
✅ Installed new wood flooring beneath former counter areas to restore a continuous retail finish
✅ Relocated the cash wrap and tailor station for improved customer flow
✅ Installed ten new Epic Bays and six column structures to showcase Fjällräven’s signature gear
✅ Provided electrical modifications for display case power and new lighting for feature walls

The result? A refreshed retail space that looks as sharp as the gear it sells — proof that smart planning and craftsmanship can elevate a store’s experience from functional to unforgettable. Even the mannequins look happier now. Crafted with care. Built to last.

Project Spotlight: Basement Remodel & Kitchenette Build 🧰🏡

What started as a basement that screamed “unfinished business” is now a bright, open kitchenette ready for coffee, cocktails, and everything in between. Sometimes all it takes is knocking down a wall (and a little creativity) to change everything:

✅ Removed an interior wall to open the layout and connect the laundry area
✅ Built a custom kitchenette to fit range, sink, fridge, and stacked washer/dryer
✅ Installed new cabinetry, countertop, and vented hood for compact efficiency
✅ Integrated plumbing, electrical, and framing adjustments for a seamless finish
✅ Matched paint, trim, and flooring transitions to blend perfectly with existing finishes

The end result feels twice as spacious and five times more useful — proof that even small basements can pack big potential when crafted with care. What used to feel like a storage dungeon now looks like a designer hideout — built to last, made to live in, and maybe even too nice for doing laundry.

Project Spotlight: Sammamish Bathroom Refresh 🚿✨

Sometimes a small space just needs a big upgrade. This Sammamish bathroom got a complete refresh — from dated finishes and water-damaged drywall to a clean, modern look built for daily comfort. Every remodel starts with a little demolition and a lot of optimism (because let’s be honest, it never looks worse than it does on demo day), but the transformation here was worth every step:

✅ Removed old flooring, tub, surround, and outdated fixtures
✅ Installed wide-plank laminate floors with warm, textured wood tones
✅ Rebuilt the tub alcove with moisture-resistant backer board and neutral large-format tile
✅ Upgraded to brushed nickel fixtures for a clean, timeless look
✅ Added a floating vanity with sleek white top and deep storage drawers

Now it’s a spa-like retreat that feels bright, modern, and relaxing — the kind of space that makes you want to linger a few extra minutes every morning. Built for comfort, durability, and timeless style, this bathroom blends beauty with function and is protected against daily wear for years to come — all backed by our Crafted with Care Commitment.

Project Spotlight: Mercer Tower 4th Floor Patio Repair 🏗️✨

High-rise challenges call for creative solutions — and a good head for heights. Armed with a Genie Z-60 lift, cones, caution tape, and more safety gear than a space mission, our team set up to repair a fourth-floor balcony that had suffered years of rot and water damage. This wasn’t just a cosmetic fix — it was a structural rebuild from the joists up:

✅ Accessed the 4th-floor balcony with lift and full safety setup
✅ Removed rotten fascia, decking, and damaged joists
✅ Installed new framing, reinforced railing, and laid fresh decking
✅ Sealed seams and applied multi-layer waterproofing for protection
✅ Finished with new fascia and paint for a clean, weatherproof look

From rotted framing and unsafe conditions to a solid, waterproofed patio built to last, the transformation speaks for itself. Now the deck is reinforced against the elements, safe underfoot, and sturdy enough for everything from morning coffee to sunset selfies — all backed by our Crafted with Care Commitment.

Project Spotlight: Engineered Bamboo Flooring Installation 🌿✨

Sometimes even a “finished” floor needs a redo. This Seattle living room had engineered bamboo planks that needed to come up so we could tackle the real culprit: an uneven subfloor. From removal to leveling to reinstallation, here’s how we made it right:

✅ Removed existing bamboo flooring across the living room
✅ Poured leveling compound to smooth and stabilize the subfloor
✅ Reinstalled original bamboo planks with precision
✅ Integrated new matching planks for a seamless finish
✅ Delivered a polished floor ready for daily living

Now the floor is sturdy, level, and looks like it was always meant to be there — backed by our Crafted with Care Commitment. Thinking of updating your floors? We’ll handle the hard part so you can enjoy the finished look.

Project Spotlight: Exterior Wood Repairs & Full Repaint 🏡🎨

When the siding and trim on this home started looking more “weathered barn” than “refined residence,” it was time for a full makeover. This home had peeling paint, cracked trim, and a hole that looked like a woodpecker Airbnb — but we turned it around with a full exterior facelift. Parts of this home’s trim were so high up that our ladders tapped out, so we brought in the big guns — a rented lift (because we love our team too much to turn them into trapeze artists).

✅ Repaired water-damaged trim, siding, and columns
✅ Patched and replaced rotted fascia and window trims
✅ Primed and painted all repaired areas for a seamless blend
✅ Safely reached second-story gables with a lift for precision work
✅ Left the home looking fresh, weather-protected, and HOA-ready

Now the house shines brighter than the day it was built — with every detail backed by our Crafted with Care Commitment. Thinking of refreshing your exterior? We’ll bring the tools (and the humor) to keep your home looking its best.
