Last week we had a group return from building a home for the Hernández Guillen family in Honduras! This family of four helped alongside our team to create something for themselves, something they can be proud of. Modesto and Josefa Hernández Guillen had been saving for the past five years to buy a piece of land to call their own. After accomplishing that, their biggest dream was to build a strong and stable home for their family, and thanks to DwellingsNow and all who donated, we were able to help them achieve that goal. Now that they have a safe place to fill with memories and traditions, they can focus their savings on medical care and education for their kids.

We want to say a huge thank you to all who donated to our build! Without these donations, we never would've been able to help make this family's dream a reality!

The Rios Family received their home last week!

If you follow us, you likely know we had a crew of volunteers in Honduras last week for our first build of 2022 with DwellingsNow.
DwellingsNow is a non-profit focused on providing housing to families in need in places like Honduras and Colombia.

Again, we want to thank all the donors who helped provide the funds, as well as Parr Lumber, who donated tools to make this build happen!

We’ll be returning to Honduras in June and October to build more homes. If you’d like to help fund these builds, please visit the link on our website!

Project Manager Jason Tate is leading a crew in Honduras this week for our first 2022 build with DwellingsNow for families in need.

We’d like to thank everyone who donated to make this build happen! With their help, we have the opportunity to give the Rios family stable housing and a place to call home.

We’ve got two awesome builds hitting the market in May, both on 14th Ave NW!

The first, at 8751, is an eight townhome project including 3 detached homes. All of these units will have 3 bedrooms, while most of them will also feature a mezzanine level allowing for double height living spaces. These homes range in size from 1,485 to 1,603 sq ft.

The other, at 8315, consists of nine townhomes, each with two bedrooms and stylish kitchens with modern finishes. These homes range in size from 998 to 1,261 sq ft.

Blackwoods grinding away on our project at 1510 18th Ave here in Seattle!

This project features eight beautiful, modern townhomes, each with 2 bedrooms. These homes will range in size from 1,318 to 1,487 sq ft and also feature a mezzanine level to give your living space double height ceilings. Perfect for entertaining family and friends! This year, Blackwood is partnering with to build homes for three more families in Honduras. We're currently raising money for the April build and we need your help! Donations of any size will help provide these families with shelter, a bed to sleep in, and a home to fill with lifelong memories. Our project on 23rd Ave E is nearing completion!

Big thanks to Ryan Gillis of Gillis Real Estate for getting all three of these homes sold well before we were close to finishing.

This project features two 2 bedroom homes and one 3 bedroom home, ranging in size from about 1,100 sq ft to over 1,700 with water views from the rooftop decks.

We’ve partnered with two awesome teams to go live for pre-sale at our most recent builds!

Our 6712 and 6714 Carleton Ave S project features six 2 and 3 bedroom townhomes. Each home will have parking and rooftop decks to enjoy some fresh air. If you’d like to take a look, reach out to Home Docket.
