No school + a long holiday weekend = need something fun to do today? 🎨🙌

We’re OPEN for Open Create today from 11–3!

Grab the kids, bring a friend, or come sneak in a little creative time for yourself. ❤️ Pick a project when you get here, grab a seat and create at your own pace — no scheduled workshop needed.

You can also stop in just to shop and see what’s new around the studio. Fall has definitely been taking over around here. 🍂

Last week you guys helped me choose our Sunday Drop, so we’re doing it again!

This week I’m leaning into that late summer → early fall feeling, and I honestly can’t decide between these two. 😍

🍎 APPLE HARVEST — because we live in Michigan yet somehow I always forget how cute apple decor is.

🌻 SUNFLOWERS — that perfect little bridge between summer and fall.

Okay, you guys might be onto something with this one… 👀

I shared our **“In This House We Yell LET’S GO ____”** door hanger and someone asked:

**“Could you make the sports interchangeable?”**

Ummm… YES. And honestly, that would be pretty easy to do. 😂

Then a few more of you chimed in saying you’d want one too, so now you’ve got me thinking…

🏈 Football season? Pop on football.
🏐 Volleyball night? Switch it out.
⚾ Baseball rolls around? Swap it again.
🏀 Basketball, softball, soccer, wrestling, marching band, cheer… you get the idea.

One sign that can follow your family through ALL the seasons.

🌸 A little photo dump from Saturday’s Pressed Flower + Resin Workshop because these projects turned out way too pretty not to share!

There’s something I love about giving everyone the same basic supplies and watching completely different creations come together. Different flowers, different layouts, different ideas — and every single one completely their own. ❤️

We spent the afternoon arranging flowers, pouring resin, creating, chatting and maybe learning a few things along the way. 😉 And the finished pieces were SO good.

I’ve already had a few people asking when we’re doing another Pressed Flower Workshop. I don’t have another one on the calendar just yet, **BUT you don’t have to wait!**

🌸 **Pressed flower projects will be available during Open Create this Friday, September 4 from 11–3.** Come in, pick a project and create at your own pace.

This is my favorite kind of day at Rose Island Originals — a table full of people creating something they didn’t necessarily know how to do when they walked in.

The studio calendar is filling up with lots of opportunities to create, gather, try something new, and just have a little fun.

🎨 **September 4 | Open Create • 11–3**
Stop in and create at your own pace — and Goose Drop orders will be ready for pickup!

🏈 **September 8 | Fall Sports Door Hanger Workshop • 6 PM**
Football, volleyball, cheer, marching band, soccer, cross country & more. Can't make the workshop because you're busy actually *doing* fall sports? 😂 DIY kits are available too!

🍂 **September 12–13 | Octagon Barn Days**

You guys definitely had some opinions on Thursday. The book was a VERY close second (and apparently some of you refuse to choose just one 😂), but these three little geese came out on top.

Sooooo… you picked it. I’m making it.

Our very first SUNDAY DROP goes live TONIGHT at 7 PM!

This one will only be available for 48 hours — and then it’s gone.

🌸✨ Such a fun afternoon in the studio!

Our Pressed Flower + Resin Workshop is officially a wrap, and I LOVE how everyone’s projects turned out. 💕 Same supplies, same basic process… and every single piece came out completely different.

This is one of my favorite parts of what we do at Rose Island Originals — getting together, trying something new, getting a little creative, and leaving with something you made yourself. 🥰

Thank you so much to everyone who spent part of their Saturday creating with me!

Now it’s time for a quick studio reset because we have a private event coming in tonight! 😅🙌

🌼 A few seats + a whole lot of pretty flowers are still waiting for tomorrow!

Our Pressed Flower + Resin Workshop is TOMORROW, and we still have room to add a few more people around the table.

If you’ve been seeing these trays pop up in your feed all week and thinking “I really want to try that…” — consider this your sign. 😉🌼

Come spend part of your Saturday choosing your flowers, playing with different arrangements, and creating a pressed flower piece that is completely your own.

And please don’t worry if you’ve never worked with pressed flowers or resin before. You don’t need to be crafty. You don’t need experience. We’ll walk you through it.
