Secaucus Emergency Fund A NJ Not For Profit, The “Fund” was established to help the residents of Secaucus The “Fund” was established to help the residents of Secaucus in need.

The Secaucus Emergency Fund, A NJ Not For Profit, was established and incorporated on February 27, 2012. The “Fund” will assist residents when all other resources have been exhausted. Anyone who requests assistance will have to meet certain criteria requirements, including proof of income, residence and copy of what the actual need is. The “Fund” will help in such cases as, but not limited to:

1.

Prescription medication
2. Doctor & medical bills
3. Medical appliances-(canes, walkers, wheelchairs, nebulizers, humidifier etc.)
4. Past due utilities (electric, gas, water, etc.)
5. Rent (In extreme cases)

This “Fund” will work closely with the Social Services Office in Secaucus to verify need. This will have a great impact on the quality of life for the residents of our community. There are many instances when someone becomes very ill or injured and have no income for a period of time. This “Fund” can help with many of these situations.
