Friday Night Lights hit a little differently when you helped put them there. With the jamboree kicking off tomorrow, we’re throwing it back to 2021 when The Cherokee Group Electrical Team took on the massive job of replacing the stadium lights at Sevier County, Gatlinburg, Northview, Seymour, and Pigeon Forge High Schools.

It was a big project, a great challenge, and one we’re still proud to see lighting up fields across Sevier County each football season.

Here’s to another year of Friday night lights, hometown teams, and high school football in the Smokies. Good luck to all the players, coaches, bands, cheerleaders, and families kicking off the season!

This summer, we were excited to welcome Cassidy & Tricia back for another internship with our electrical team! They spent the season gaining even more hands-on experience in electrical contracting, working hard, asking great questions, and jumping into every opportunity to expand their skills.

Investing in the next generation of skilled trades is something we take great pride in, and our team loved the opportunity to teach, mentor, and watch these two continue to grow.
