A great transformation completed today.
The project started with a large area filled with brush, grass clippings, logs, stumps, and a few trees. We handled the entire process from start to finish — clearing the space, removing select trees, and hauling all debris away.
Once the area was fully prepared, we installed 35 yards of fresh mulch over w**d barrier fabric to create a clean, polished, and low-maintenance finish.
The end result came out sharp (even though before pictures were not takin) , functional, and built to last.

❄️ STORM UPDATE FROM FIRST RESPONSE LAWN AND LANDSCAPE ❄️
🚜 NOW OFFERING SNOW PILE MOVING
It’s time to push large snow piles back, open up parking areas, improve visibility, and prevent icing issues.
We have the equipment and experience to handle jobs of any size:
• Compact tractor for tight residential areas
• Large skid steer for efficient pile relocation
• Full-size loader for heavy-duty commercial work
From residential driveways to large parking lots — if you have snow piles, blocked sight lines, narrowed lanes, or areas running out of space, show us and we’ll move it safely and efficiently.
All contracted properties have been fully serviced. We still have one plow truck and one shoveling crew out touching up driveways and walkways to keep everything clean and safe. Crews will continue working through tonight and tomorrow.
At this time, we are NOT taking on any new snow plowing or shoveling customers. We always appreciate the support and understanding from our community.

🚨 STORM UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🚨
Our crews are still out working in extremely low visibility conditions. Snowfall rates and blowing snow are making travel very difficult, and we are moving as quickly as we can while keeping safety our top priority.
We were able to get to most driveways this morning, and as always during major storms, we will be coming twice to keep properties safe and accessible. Please understand that timing between visits may vary depending on snowfall rates and road conditions.
Due to the severity of this storm, plowing operations will still be delayed at times. We will not rush at the expense of safety — for our crew or for our customers. Response times will be slower than usual, but we promise:
We have not forgotten about anyone. Every property on our route will be serviced.

This upcoming storm is forecasted to bring significantly worse conditions than our last storm, with heavier snowfall, stronger winds, and more challenging road conditions. With the severity of this system, everything will take longer than usual, and delays are unavoidable. Safety for both our crew and our customers is our top priority.
Due to the expected accumulation, multiple visits will be required to keep properties safe and accessible. As always, we come twice during major storms, but depending on snowfall rates and road conditions, timing may vary. If your service includes walkway shoveling, please understand that walks may not be cleared on every single pass.
We are asking all customers to please be patient. We promise we will get to you, but with conditions expected to be much worse than the previous storm, response times will be slower across the board.

Because of this, if your service includes walkway shoveling, walks may not be cleared on every single pass. We are asking all customers to please be patient with us as we manage this storm as efficiently and safely as possible.

First Response Lawn and Landscape was proud to support the Seymour/Oxford Food Bank this week. We were glad to help out and donate our time to make things a little easier. Our team picked up three pallets—350 turkeys—from Waterbury, and we also donated our trailer for the food bank to use for the rest of the day.
