This customer’s HVAC system had been leaking for a long time without anyone noticing. On the surface, everything looked fine — but once we opened the walls, we found extensive mold growth trapped between the drywall and framing.

What started as a roof leak turned into a major remediation project.

This customer experienced a severe roof leak that caused their ceiling to cave in. Once the drywall came down, we uncovered the real extent of the problem:

🔹 Ceiling collapse from water intrusion
🔹 Mold growth across the closet ceiling and walls
🔹 Moisture trapped behind drywall that allowed hidden mold to spread undetected
🔹 Extensive contamination that required full removal and treatment

Our team set up containment, removed all contaminated drywall, HEPA vacuumed every exposed surface, treated the framing, and are now running drying equipment to stabilize the structure.

This is a perfect example of how water issues create more issues than initially visible at surface level. The longer water sits, the more hidden damage and mold it creates. By the time it shows on the surface, it’s already spreading behind the scenes.
