So why do contractors refuse to repair DIY equipment? If the equipment was running, isn't it about the same as getting a service call on some other 10-year-old system you didn't install? I ask this as the HVAC industry is changing very fast and in 5 years there will be way too many DIY systems that need repair for a contractor to refuse to service. Pic for attention only.
