IF YOU LIVE IN NORTH LOUISIANA AND HAVE AN IN GROUND POOL. YOU MAY WANT TO USE THE FOLLOWING TIPS TO AVOID POSSIBLE FREEZE DAMAGE.

1. Remove all pool toys.
2. Clean out skimmer/pump basket.
3. Sweep/clean all leaves from pool.
4. Remove drain plugs from heaters.
5. Keep pumps running.
6. If possible cover the pool equipment with a temporary tarp/enclosure and install a 100 watt light bulb inside the enclosure to hopefully prevent freezing.
7. Disconnect any water hoses from water faucets located on your exterior walls. Then cover the water faucets/ pipes with insulation.

DO NOT DRAIN THE POOL COMPLETELY!!!
