Christ filled imagery!!!

I like to add things that tie the Bible and its teachings to my pieces. At a base level every item gets a crown of thorns on it.

But I also love to add things like linen, mustard seed, salt etc.

1.) Linen symbolizing Christ’s resurrection and return
2.) Mustard seeds used to represent a reflection of our faith in God
3.) Salt to symbolize our identity on the earth as followers of Christ

There’s many more additions to come to my pieces as I continue gather more inspiration.

There’s so many ways we can express our faith and reverence for Jesus. One of the ways I choose is through my craft of wood working

I added the folded linen cloth to this peice as a way to commemorate and honor the resurrction of Jesus.

We see in the book of John Jesus’s linen cloth folded or rolled up where he was laid 3 days after being crucified.

Many suggest the reason for this was because it was Jewish custom at the time to fold you rag when leaving a table to signal that you were not finish and were returning to finish your meal.

I love this explanation because it signals to us that Jesus has not abandoned us and is still returning one day.

I add many things like this to many of my items and come up with more daily. Putting the gospel in as many houses as I can in my own unique way is a part of what I feel called to do.

I was honored to have the privilege of creating something as a gift to someone going through a hard time. I hope to get an update from this customer as time goes on.

Cancer of any kind is no joke and has taken the lives of a staggering amount of people in recent years.

I don’t know about you but I worship a God that heals and I’ve seen him heal people in front of my face in undeniable ways.

Always go get you some physical treatment but do not neglect the spiritual treatment that often bleeds over into the physical. Be a believing believer and ignite that faith!!!!
