Happy Labor Day 2024 from the FPH Construction team. We hope you take some time this weekend to celebrate this unofficial “last weekend of summer” with your family and friends.

Labor Day is an annual celebration to recognize the many contributions American workers have made to America’s achievements, strength, prosperity, and well-being. Before it was a federal holiday, it was recognized by labor activists and individual states. New York was the first state to introduce a bill, but Oregon was the first state to pass a law recognizing Labor Day on February 21, 1887. Later, in 1894, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September each year the legal holiday that we celebrate today.

A little fun in the woods at Crosby with a lot of activities around the early logging history.

We were excited to take part as a sponsor of the Crosby Days Festival at the Crosby Community Center.

We hope to see some of you from Kitsap this Saturday Aug. 10th at the Crosby Days Festival!

The Crosby Community Center a non-profit charitiable organization supporting Crosby, Seabeck and the Green Mountain areas of central Kitsap County, Washington. The venue is available to rent for events such as weddings, bridal showers, corporate training, etc.
