Rainy days don't always mean days off.

This particular property will soon be getting a major facelift. We'll be opening up overgrown areas, improving access, and helping prepare the site for future improvements.

The rain may have slowed the machine down for a couple of days, but it gave us time to line up work, meet great people, and plan the next phase of growth for Gulf Worx Services.

Day in the life running a brush cutter…

Everybody sees the finished results. They don’t always see the mud, the rain, the hidden junk, old tires and cinder blocks buried in the brush, vines wrapped around everything, and trying to squeeze a machine down a fence line with inches to spare.

Some days go smooth. Some days you throw debris through a fence and owe your customer some pickets.

This is the reality of land clearing and brush cutting. Dirty, loud, frustrating, but very satisfying work. But, there’s nothing better than watching an overgrown mess slowly turn back into usable property.

You have to stay ready when you’re hauling equipment, supplies, debris, or anything on a trailer. Lillian Tires always helps me get back on the road!! Getting ready to head to Stapleton for some brush cutting to open up some trails and outline two ponds so a trapper can access areas he needs to mitigate a beaver population causing flooding on the homeowners property. The Garden Hut in Perdido key is an amazing nursery with a great selection of flowers to help spice up your garden. We stopped by on our way to Hub Stacys and picked up a few that caught the wife’s attention. Anyhow, the owner, Raymond was very polite and very helpful in getting a few pots for our house. We will definitely be back and I will most certainly be referring my customers their way for flower and garden needs.
