Getting things done the correct way. Many companies throw siding on without taking the time to do it right. Installation requires proper housewrap, especially when old housewrap has nail holes all over it. CAULK CAULK CAULK! Many companies have improper caulk jobs which leads to water damage. Face-nailing without proper waterproofing agent also leads to water damage. So, if you see companies jumping job to job every week, it doesn’t mean the job is done correctly, just quickly. We know, because we fix these half done jobs all the time! No matter who you hire, go for accuracy, not speed. Friendly reminder from Bathurst Construction!

Whew— looking back at this past year, what a challenge it’s been! First off- we are so very thankful to all of our customers! We feel so lucky to have so many great people trust us with their homes and businesses. It’s been a wild ride. Along the way we’ve definitely learned as we tried to grow... but at the end of the day we figured out the hard way that we can only rely on ourselves. As much as we would love to grow, we’ve decided it’s not worth risking the reputation we’ve worked so hard to earn. The past year we took on jobs that took MONTHS to get paychecks, even after the work was completed. As many of you know, we have 4 young children at home and going months without a steady income can be crushing. We’ve also had health procedures that caused major setbacks. So-with that being said -YES- we are still in business, but we will be only taking on jobs we are comfortable that we can complete together in a timely manner. And in order to save wear and tear on our bodies and have steady income- we are also expanding into HOME INSPECTIONS! And most importantly, now that things have calmed down and the weather has turned- we do have time available in the near future for small jobs such as painting, carpentry, flooring, etc! (FINALLY!!!) We look forward to this next year as we make these changes that we know will be in our family’s best interest. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support! ❤️
